At our company we take allergen management and its correct declaration very seriously. It is the company’s policy to avoid the presence of unintended allergens as much as possible through good manufacturing practices (control of raw materials, formulations, facilities, processes, cleaning, training, analytical controls, labeling…).
Ultimately, it is about ensuring consumer safety by providing correct and verified information. On the other hand, current food legislation obliges us to do so and every year it is verified during ISO certification. For the ISO standard, the allergens chapter is one of the fundamental ones and without its compliance certification is not possible.
In any case, for allergens, and when in doubt about their presence, we always recommend reading the information included on the label of our products.
